This study aimed to explore autoantibodies in children with acute rheumatic fever (ARF) and to identify and validate potential new autoantigens in ARF patients. The results suggest that autoantibodies may play a role in the onset and progression of ARF, concluding that multiple autoantigens are needed as diagnostic biomarkers due to the heterogeneity of the disease.
